Dark Knight
There's so much time spent at work waiting for assets to check-in and out (our P4 server needs to be upgraded). Here's a little sketch I did based on Frank Miller's Dark Knight (grizzly, old-man Batman). Sketch on sticky-note pad, gray scale wash in photoshop.

It's In The Book
Something I did for the 'Environment of the Week' activity over on the conceptart.org forums. I had a lot of fun and as usual learned some new things in the process. It's more fun, motivating, and easy to paint when I have a topic to jump-start the imagination. This was about 5 hours in PS. Could use some more polish and a foreground object, but I'm pretty happy with it.
