This last one is actually pretty disturbing. Believe me, I don't fantasize about blood impacts or people(zombies) getting shot in the head, it's just sometimes a grim part of my job as a vfx artist. This stuff is mostly observations of the motion and general look and feel from different references. Takes a strong stomach to make it through the day...

I'm in the process of updating my professional/portfolio website (www.arthaak.com), which means that I'm pruning it way back and getting rid of most of the 'non-essential' art on there. Dark Knight

There's so much time spent at work waiting for assets to check-in and out (our P4 server needs to be upgraded). Here's a little sketch I did based on Frank Miller's Dark Knight (grizzly, old-man Batman). Sketch on sticky-note pad, gray scale wash in photoshop.
